The Role

The Golf Professional Assistant supports the Golf Team Leader in the day-to-day operations of Frankton Golf Centre. This role supports facility goals to increase usage of facilities and services at the Golf Centre including the golf course, driving range, coaching and golf shop.

Key areas of responsibility include support to the Team Leader in club membership management, membership growth, development of golf programmes and club administration and facility usage.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Provide effective, efficient and safe day to day operations of the Frankton Golf Centre
  • Assist with the development of golf focused programmes
  • Assist with the development of strategies and the implementation of these strategies to encourage growth in participation, particularly in the youth market
  • Support the Team Leader to identify and pursue opportunities for continued business improvement

 

The Candidate

This role requires someone with …

  • Recognised Professional Golf Association qualification
  • Class “A” NZPGA or world alliance equivalent
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years coaching experience with juniors & adults
  • Experienced in Trackman technology
