The Role

The Swim Instructor role is responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable delivery of Aquatic Services by providing the instruction of Learn to Swim services to all customers.

Your friendly and helpful service will help maximise customer learning and enjoyment and you will be focussed on ensuring personal safety and the safety of others.

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven individual for the role of Swim School Instructor. This is a full-time role (minimum of 30 hours per week) based at the Wanaka Recreation Centre.

About You - required

  • 3 years minimum relevant experience as a Swim School Instructor
  • Experience in teaching Adult Beginners and Learn to Swim programmes
  • AustSwim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety / Swim Teacher Award (SNZ STA) or equivalent
  • Current First Aid certificate
