The Role

  • Waste Minimisation Project Officer


The Waste Minimisation Officer (WMO) promotes and supports waste minimisation and resource recovery within QLDC operations, community groups, businesses, iwi/Maori organisations, educational bodies and other community-based organisations in the Queenstown Lakes region.

The WMO will be responsible for waste minimisation project development and implementation. The WMO will support the implementation and effective engagement of the community focussed actions in the QLDC Waste Minimisation and Management Plan 2018. The role will include community engagement and administration of the QLDC waste minimisation grant funding.
